BTEC Level 2 Award in CCTV Operations (Public Space Surveillance) 

CCTV systems are now being used within the UK by various agencies and private establishments. CCTV training is not only an essential element for those monitoring public space using CCTV equipment; it can also lead to large savings for any company that has CCTV in Operation. The CCTV training course is lead by our specialist trainer who has for many years been involved in monitoring CCTV equipment and individuals through Private Investigations and Surveillance. The ability for a CCTV Operator to follow correct procedures whilst remaining within the Law is an essential factor in safeguarding the public and also succesful identification and prosecution of criminals.
Who is the course for?
For those currently working as, or wishing to begin work as, a CCTV Operator. On successful completion of the CCTV Training course and passing the required examinations delegates will be able to apply for an SIA licence as a CCTV Operator.

Entry Requirements
CCTV / PSS
(3 day course)
There are no formal entry requirements to the Door Supervisor course, however the minimum age requirement for entry into this course is 18.
You will be asked to bring along Identification documents (drivers licence or passport) and 2 forms of proof of address (utility bill, bank statement etc) along with 3 passport size pictures.

What does the course involve?
Delegates must complete and pass both units 1 and 2 as outlined below. Success will achieve a Level 2 Award in CCTV operations and allow delegates to apply for their SIA licence. The course requires you to undertake the role of a CCTV operator where you will track, log and report activities on a suspect or activity.
